Review Process
The review standards we are building for the future.
Casinofinder.ca is currently a Canadian iGaming news publication. We do not publish casino reviews, casino rankings or bonus offers at this stage.
This page explains the review standards we are building for the future. If Casinofinder.ca introduces casino reviews later, they will follow a clear and consistent process. The goal is simple: readers should understand how we evaluate an operator, what we look at, and why a conclusion is reached.
Why this page exists
Online casino reviews can influence where people choose to play. That creates responsibility.
Before publishing any reviews, we want to be clear about the standards we would use. We do not want to rank casinos without explaining the criteria behind those rankings. We also do not want to mix news coverage with promotional content in a way that confuses readers.
For now, Casinofinder.ca focuses on Canadian gambling news, regulation, industry developments, payments and responsible gambling.
What future reviews would assess
If casino reviews are introduced, they will be based on practical factors that matter to Canadian players.
Licensing and regulation
We would look at whether an operator is licensed or authorized to serve players in the relevant Canadian province. This is especially important in Ontario, where private iGaming operators must be registered and operate within the provincial framework.
Payments
We would assess the payment methods available to Canadian players, including deposits, withdrawals, processing times, limits and whether common Canadian options such as Interac are supported.
Withdrawal speed
Fast deposits are not enough. A casino should also process withdrawals clearly and reliably. We would look at payout speed, verification delays, withdrawal limits and how transparent the operator is about its process.
User experience
We would review how easy the site is to use on desktop and mobile. This includes navigation, account setup, cashier design, game search, loading speed and clarity of terms.
Bonus terms
If a casino offers promotions, we would look at the fairness and clarity of those terms. This includes wagering requirements, expiry dates, game restrictions, maximum bet rules and withdrawal conditions.
Responsible gambling tools
We would assess the safer gambling tools available to players. This may include deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion, reality checks, account history and links to support services.
Customer support
We would consider how easy it is to contact support, how quickly questions are answered and whether the operator gives clear information about payments, verification and account issues.
How we would keep reviews fair
Any future reviews would follow our editorial policy. Our criteria would be published clearly so readers can understand how we reach our conclusions.
We would aim to separate factual reporting from opinion. We would also update reviews when important information changes, such as licensing status, payment options, withdrawal rules or responsible gambling tools.
If commercial relationships are introduced in the future, they would not determine our editorial conclusions. Trust is more important than short-term promotion.
No casino rankings today
Casinofinder.ca does not currently publish casino rankings, bonus tables, review scores or “best casino” pages.
At this stage, our focus is news and analysis. If reviews are added later, they will only be published once our methodology, editorial standards and disclosure rules are ready.
